Services & Rates

Lobo Tails Pet Care offers drop-in visits, dog walks, medication administration, and overnight pet and house sitting for clients in Boulder and the surrounding area. Every service is provided by a Certified Veterinary Technician, so your pets are in experienced, medically trained hands whether I'm stopping in for a quick visit or staying the night.

Dogs and cats are required to be current on their Rabies vaccine. A letter of medical exemption signed by your veterinarian is accepted in lieu of a Rabies Certificate.

Service Area

Lobo Tails Pet Care primarily serves central and north Boulder, bounded by 4th Street to the west, Table Mesa Drive/South Boulder Road to the south, Highway 287 to the east, and Niwot Road to the north. Travel fees starting at $15 per service apply for locations outside this area.

Some areas west of Broadway (e.g. Seven Hills, Pine Brook Hill) are not serviceable in winter.

Meet & Greets

A meet-and-greet is required for all new clients before services can be booked.

New Client Meet-and-Greet: $25 deposit, applied toward your first booking.

Follow-Up Meet-and-Greet: $25

A follow-up meet-and-greet is required if we haven't seen your pet in 6 months or more, and is also recommended when adding a new pet to your family or if you've moved.

Dog Walks

Every dog deserves a great walk. Whether you need a regular midday outing or something more flexible, I work around your routine so your pup gets out and moving no matter how busy life gets. Each walk is one-on-one time with your dog, complete with plenty of sniffs, fresh air, and a happy tail wagging when they get home.

Walks are weather permitting. When extreme temperatures, heavy rain, or snow occur, walks may be rescheduled or cut short. When walks are shortened, I'll make every effort to use the remaining time for play, enrichment, and cuddles.

20 minutes — $25

30 minutes — $35

45 minutes — $45

60 minutes — $55

60-minute walks are available in spring and fall.

Additional dog (same household): +$10

Dogs with a combined weight of 45 lbs or more will be walked individually.

Drop-In Visits

Dog Drop-Ins

Sometimes your pup just needs a midday check-in, a potty break, and some love while you're away. Drop-in visits are a great option for dogs who are comfortable at home on their own and just need a little attention to break up the day. I'll make sure they're fed, watered, let outside, and thoroughly spoiled before I head out.

30 minutes — $30

60 minutes — $50

120 minutes — $90

Cat & Critter Drop-Ins

Your smaller family members deserve attentive care too. Whether you have cats, birds, rabbits, fish, or other critters, I'll stop in to refresh food and water, scoop litter boxes or tidy up habitats, and spend some quality time with whoever wants the attention.

15 minutes — $22

30 minutes — $30

Overnight Stays

Each package includes a guaranteed number of in-home care hours per 24-hour period. During time outside the reserved care window, the sitter may leave as needed, with no single absence longer than 5 hours.

12 Hours — $150 Perfect for pets who are comfortable with some independent downtime.

Additional pet: +$35/day

16 Hours — $175 Great for dogs who are still settling in, have mild anxiety, or simply prefer more company.

Additional pet: +$45/day

19 Hours — $265 Ideal for post-surgery recovery, senior pets, high-anxiety dogs, or total peace of mind.

Additional pet: +$55/day

Puppies 18 months and under: +$50/day

Return Day: +$60 for up to 6 hours after your check-in time. Returns more than 6 hours after check-in time will be booked as a full additional night.

I'll arrive within a few hours of your departure. If you'd prefer an in-person handoff at the start or end of your trip, please schedule a drop-in visit accordingly.

Medical Monitoring

Vet tech supervised visits for pets recovering from surgery, injury, or hospitalization. I'll walk, feed, medicate, and monitor your pet while you're out, with the clinical eye of a Certified Veterinary Technician.

$80/hour

Additional pet: +$15/hour
